I have to go to the DMV like right now. Here's a Lobster Quest character, sort of a big part of the story but not exactly a main character. His name is Buckey, he's an Orca, and he's a champion. Originally I drew this character as a Great White Shark, and he was going to fight an Orca in a boxing match. But when I drew the Orca he turned out way cooler than the shark. The boxing match will still be between a Great White and an Orca, but the focus will be on the Orca rather than the Great White. Which makes sense because an Orca would kick a Great White's ass in real life anyway.

Fucking Lobster Quest god dammit.

Haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd post this LQ character I just drew. I kind of put off drawing his sprite for a while, but I think he's going to be one of my favorite characters. His name is Vogner and he's like the main bad dude. This is a really shitty update to post but I really like the way he looks and I haven't posted in a while so here it is take a look at it thanks.

The character's name, Vogner, is basically what I thought was a cool spelling of the name Wagner, after the famous composer Richard Wagner, who wrote these really bleak operatic uhh... musics. It has this sweeping epic quality, and it's written around cataclysmic visions of the future, which is pretty kick ass. My friend Dave showed it to me this weekend. Dave drops too much acid. Anyway I guess he also started hanging out with nazi's when he got older (Wagner, not Dave), so for many reasons I think this name is extremely fitting for the character, and I like that.

Great job coming up with that name, Leigh. Oh thank you wow I'm really awesome.

In other news, there are a lot of people in my life who have absolutely no faith in me that I'm going to finish Lobster Quest, and others who don't give a shit one way or another. And what the fuck. But I can't really blame them, given the history of it and everything, and the fact that I flake out on pretty much anything I ever start. I mean, I don't have a lot of convincing evidence that I am going to finish it, so it's kind of a leap of faith for people to believe in me at this juncture. But I don't care. I'll fuckin' finish it. Fuck you. Yeah.

And to those who do believe me, that is great, God bless your beautiful angel golden hearts. :)

Just read the winners of the Hi-Def Sprite Contest and I am barely one of them. I think this is going to be like my 5th Newgrounds shirt. First of all, let me start by saying thank you for the shirts and stickers. Second of all, I know I sound like a shitty sport here, but I was expecting to at least place above 5th. This is enormously disappointing and another token of shittiness meant to piss in my soup.

On that note I just bought LobsterQuest.net yesterday, and LeighMcGrath.com. Looks like some faggot nabbed LobsterQuest.com before I could get to it [laziness]. Haven't gotten hosting yet because that shit is expensive and I don't have anything design-wise to put up yet. But I plan to keep a blog of the progress on Lobster Quest.

Look, to anyone who might be reading this I really don't feel like going into the whole history of Lobster Quest that I keep referring to here, and I don't really feel the need anyway because nobody is in fact reading this at all probably. If you are reading this do me a favor and post something. Just one word, you can say like 'lol fag' I don't care.

I started Jim Ether's cartoon today. I didn't get much done. I can already tell I'm going to have to squeeze this one out like a bad zit. But I'm determined to contribute something of the highest quality to this film, which is going to rock. Oh also, here is a plug.
